dream castle tobacco company made a pipe tobacco excusively for brooks pharmacy. when rite aid took over they discontinued it. it is called scottsman’s choice gold cavendish. do they make this under a different name for someone else? this is for my dad who is 88 years old and has very few pleasures in life. i would love to find him some of this tobacco. please help!!!!!

I too have often been confused by the whole Dream Castle / drugstore situation. It seems as if they made a few blends, packaging them for quite a number of drugstore chains. Can anyone shed any light on that situation?

Dream Castle Tobacco Company is a marketing organization. Their tobaccos are made for them by Altadis. Go to the Altadis website and I am sure your will find it. Otherwise contact Altadis and they will tell you if they can help.

http://www.Altadisusa.com is the website. I checked it out. While that exact blend name does not appear, Dream Castle also has the Super-Value Brand made by Altadis, as well. In that series you will find “Natural Cavendish”. This may be what you are looking for. The Super-Value Series of tobaccos is found at many discount stores that sell tobacco as well as many tobacco shops. I have smoked the Natural Cavendish Blend and find it quite acceptable. It is reviewed by me and others on this site.

I did a search on Google for this blend and got nary a match. This would strongly suggest that this blend is no longer available anywhere but also has no recent history.
Dang! I would have liked to have tried it out.

Just went to the Habana (pipesandcigars.com) web site to order some baccy and was hit in the face with this announcement: Congress is in the process of stopping our right to buy tobacco through mail order!

See http://pipesandcigars.com/urplclhe.html

We’ve go to get after our congressional legislators about this folks!!!
