There’s been any number of times that I wish I could . . .

a.      Bring up a list of blends that I would have flagged in the past as being of interest to me.  Then, I would click on the blend and go to the review page of that blend.

b.      Bring up a list of reviewers that I would have flagged in the past as being of interest to me.  Then, I would click on that reviewer to see the list of reviews he has posted.  At _that_ list, I could then click to see the specific review.

(I _do_ like the idea in the recent “Classifying Blends” that someone had of being able to call up individual reviews rather than have to wade thru the whole list when you are searching for an individual post.)

Obviously, if you wanted to use either feature “a” or “b”, you’d have to be a registered user of the site.

My question is:  Would anyone else use such features if they were available?

I’d love to here your thoughts on this idea. The ability to makes blends “Favorites” would dovetail nicely with the idea of “Following” certain reviewers. Should we add that to the development plan?

I think that would be useful. A blend often sparks my interest and I look up some reviews, only to later forget about it completely. It would be great to be able to keep a running list of blends I was interested in.

Both would be a grat feature that I would often use.

I would dearly love to have the search feature include not just rating, blend or brand, but also filter by 1) The strength, flavor, taste and room note fields, and 2) by type and cut (all Virginia Flake, for example).

And yes, I would absolutely use the features you mention!

Yes Yes Yes! My thoughts exactly. A favorites feature would be great and could allow me to see what other reviewers with similar tastes enjoy (have in their favorites bin). This should be separate from a “tobaccos I’d like to try” feature, allowing me to keep track of which varieties I plan to order or pick-up one my next trip to the tobacconist.

I also agree with Jeremy that the site could use a more advanced search feature allowing one to specify things like cut.

Kudos for your efforts to continually improve this wonderful online community!
