Wayne writes us and asks:

I bought an 8 oz pack of “Black & Gold Cavendish” blend and it was great.

I am out and have tried several places in the Marietta, GA area but have

not been successful in locating a source.

So smokers, can anyone help this man find his preferred tobacco?

Try This That And The Other on 41. I don’t recall them having that particular blend, but they have a pretty good selection.

I recently bought a sample pack from pipesandcigars.com called Smooth Operator. Among the 5 samples were black cavendish and golden cavendish.

After reading your post, I mixed 4 grams of each together and let it sit for a couple of days. Last night, I tried a bowl of the blend, and found it quite enjoyable! Now, mind you, I enjoy aromatics along with other tobacco types.

My suggestion is that you order 4 ounces, or more if you trust this information, of the black cavendish and golden cavendish from pipesandcigars.com and blend them together. If you put this into a sanitized mason jar and set in on a shelf for a week or so, I think you’ll find what you’re looking for!

Best of luck,

Tim

I second This, That, and The Other. I was just in there a few days ago and picked up some Mild Burley. They had a couple Cavendish, if I remember correctly. Keep in mind that they aren’t the run of the mill tobacco shop, and the kids ‘ought to stay home when you go…

I just picked up a nice Black Cavendish from Mr. G’s in Woodstock. Resonably priced and a nice smoke.

Many drug chains, CVS etc, carry Super Value pipe tobacco. One is called Black & Gold. Also Finck Cigar Company carries it. Contact at 1 800-221=0638 or http://www.finckcigarcompany.com .Happy hunting.
