Sorry for the lack of posts this week. I have been traveling and haven’t had as much time to devote to Tobacco Reviews as I’d like - gotta pay those bills, you know.

I have been reading all of the comments and suggestions as to the possibility of opening up this little blog to more types of posts, and I have a couple of ideas.

The first thing I have noticed is that PipeShowsUSA seems to be defunct. That means, as far as I know, that there is no easy way to find out when/where pipe shows are happening. Obviously this is a bad situation for everyone, so the first thing to do is get something up that will let everyone know what shows are coming up.

Towards that end, you will now see an  “upcoming events” box in the sidebar under the polls. Clicking on the title of any event in the list will take you to a post for that event, where you can comment as usual. Please add whatever info you may have about the event (locations, contact info, hotel info, etc.)

Also, please use the new contact form to email me news of upcoming Pipe Shows.

Hi there, firstly, thanks for such an amazing site! I think the only way you’ll actualy be able to go full time with the site is to start selling pipes, tobacco and excessories. By opening an online store, you’re likely to attract more people to the site and you won’t necessarily have to charge any fees that would possibly cause you to loose some members. Also, creating links with other related sites can be useful that is creating links with other magazine type sites not necessarily other stores. You could also start a kind of online pipe club for members only that would enable members to get discounts on merchendize along with helpful tips ETC.
